'Nordic Walking, also known as ski walking, is an enhancement of ordinary walking with sticks or poles which are very similar to ski poles. It originated in Scandinavia but is now getting more and more popular here in the UK and is a fantastic way to lose weight, burning more than twice the calories of walking or jogging. It also utilises 80% of your muscles!
