PENNINE SHOTOKAN KARATE

We are a well established club which has been running in the Borough of Oldham since January 1983. Families, Group friends, Men, Women & Children from the age of 7years are welcome.

Unlike most other clubs, Pennine Shotokan is a none profitable club, so all its fees taken for training are used for the benefit of its students.

The club is run by Sensei Fred Jones who holds Black Belt 5th Dan JSKA (world recognized grade). Sensei Jones has competed in many Regional and National Championships and has been placed on numerous occasions, including (BSK National Championships) Grand Champion, held at St Helens in 1992.He is a Senior Referee & Coach for the BSKI, (JSKA GB) and has coached students to world level competition.The club also has a Senior female Instructor, Sensei Emma Reid 3rd Dan JSKA. Emma has also competed and been placed at national championships and is the clubs secretary.
