In this course the student will develop comprehension of the structure and function of the human body, of the inter-relation of the body systems within the human organism and develop an understanding of the principles of human anatomy and physiology.
The Anatomy & Physiology course is aimed at students of the alternative therapies who have little background in the life sciences or have not studied biology for a number of years. No previous knowledge of biology is required. This course is mandatory for ALL Massage courses.
Swedish Massage Usual Price £599
Swedish massage uses softer strokes on the bonier and more delicate parts of the body, and stronger strokes where there is thicker muscle coverage. This sensitivity to pressure makes it ideal for relaxation. This course will teach you the full body techniques and upon successful completion you will be competent enough to take on clients.

Aromatherapy Usual Price £349
Aromatherapists use aromatic oils from herbs, spices or fruit to help improve their clients' sense of well-being and relieve specific medical conditions. During this course you will be selecting the oils you feel are appropriate to treat the client, mixing the oils in blends for massage, bathing or inhaling and applying oils by full or partial body massage. Once you have completed this course you will be fully equipped to practise your therapy.

This course takes you through the steps of learning Indian Head Massage. Originating in the East over a thousand years ago, Indian Head Massage, known as Champissage, (the Indian word for massage is champi), is based on the Ayurvedic system. The massage deals with the balance and uniqueness of the individual. During this course you will be taught the following: the history of reflexology, what is reflexology?, do’s and don’ts of the therapy, anatomy of the foot and of the hand, relationship between anatomy, physiology and reflex areas relative to reflexology of the feet and hands, basic techniques and relaxation techniques applied to the feet and to the hands. On this course all materials will be provided including manuals, consultation forms, various handouts on related matters, towels, couches, chairs and various massage mediums.
