Pregnancy yoga classes, Mondays, 7pm until 8:15pm in the Kessington Hall.
Fun, informal classes where you can meet other mums, learn about pregnancy, birth and all things baby and of course experience the benefits of yoga and relaxation. Fully qualified perinatal yoga teacher who can advise on all aspects of pregnancy and the post natal period including postures to help with common conditions such as pelvic pain, sciatica and carpal tunnel syndrome.
All mats, cushions, blankets, drinks, etc are provided and a maximum of 12 mums-to-be will attend each class to ensure you get plenty of one-to-one attention.
The classes run in 8 week blocks but are organised as a rolling programme so you can join at the first class that a space is available. Each week we have a different focus such as bonding with baby, pre natal nutrition or preparing for the big day. We also cover breathing techniques for labour and positions for labour too.
The yoga postures are all suitable for and beneficial during pregnancy and will be adapted as per your trimester, and focus on building strength and stamina and keeping you flexible and fit. And at the end of the class we have tea and biscuits and a chat :-)
This class offers yoga for pregnancy but also covers birth education and offers the opportunity to meet like minded mums locally.
