Horse Listening provides confidence in communicating with horses, teaching you to be understanding and effective as a horse-person. It combines techniques from Natural Horsemanship, Kinesiology and complementary therapies.

Upcoming Horse Listening workshops:

'Body language training' workshop (day 2 of the Introductory Certificate): 22nd August, Southwick, Brighton: £75

'Kinesiology for riders and horses, level 1'. This helps improve posture and reduce stress in both rider and horse: 5th and 6th September, Tiverton, nr Devon: £180

'Further groundwork training and problem solving; spooking'. This explores the reasons behind spooking and 'bad behaviour', and provides solutions through ground work.
Oxfordshire, 17th Oct: £75

'Introduction into complementary therapies with horses', includes basic kinesiology (day 1 of the Introductory Certificate Course - pre-requisite for the Diploma course): Oxfordshire, 21st November.

Diploma qualification training provides information and practical skills to help others through a broad range of wellbeing and natural training techniques.

Horse Listening was devised by Jo Rose ( British Horse Society registered Intermediate riding teacher, Equine massage therapist, Reiki Master teacher, Kinesiogy practitioner and teacher, with Caroline Baldock (4 years experience working closely with Monty Roberts, and writer of his first 4 books), plus Terry Shubrook (Kinesiology teacher and practitioner, equine healer).

Horse listening courses give you the skills to understand and better communicate with horses, both in the stable and while training or schooling. You will learn how to manage personal stress and emotions to help improve equine performance. You will also learn the skills to provide horses with natural choices for their wellbeing.

We can provide help with physical, emotional and behavioural problems in both people and horses.
We can provide ridden and unmounted workshops at your yard.
