This course is designed for those already using massage who want to introduce the added benefits of Hot Stone Therapy to their clients. It has also been identified that the therapist benefits from using the stones in place of their hands, easing pressure on thumbs and wrists.

CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT POINTS: 15.0

PREREQUISITES:

Massage. A valid accredited massage certificate.

PREREQUISITES: Anatomy and Physiology. If a valid accredited certificate is held then this element will not be required. If Level 2 or 3 In Beauty has been achieved within 3 years, this element may not be required. A 50% reduction of the cost of Anatomy and Physiology will be given for candidates booking for another course. This is an online course with online assessments with only the final multi choice exam being sat at the Academy.

THEORY: HOT STONE THERAPY - A theory module relating to the course is sent to student prior to attendance. The time spent learning this module will be dependant on the student.

PRACTICAL: 1 Day. The maximum number of participants for this course is 2 due to its intensity. Where possible this will be conducted on a One-to-One basis.
