The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to ensure that first aid provision is ‘adequate and appropriate to the circumstances’, and that first aid personnel receive formal requalification training every 3-years.
Delegates get plenty of hands on practical training & on completion of the Emergency First Aid at Work course are much more confident in dealing with real life incidents.
This interactive and practical based 1-day Highfield certificated course will equip Client’s employees to administer emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill whilst at work.
This course will involve the demonstration and learning of practical first aid skills; all delegates will be expected to demonstrate competence in those skills throughout the course.
There is no formal assessment; delegates will be continually observed demonstrating first aid practices throughout the day as each unit is covered.
On successful completion of the 1-day Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work, delegates will be awarded a certificate and a wallet sized card both of which are valid for 3 years from the date of the examination.
Courses are delivered at our training centre in Neyland, Pembrokeshire, or delivered at external venues subject to numbers.
We run at least one course a month. If you are interested in attending this course, then please call or email to enquiry when the next course is being held or if you require further information.
