It is therefore vital gaining appropriate qualifications to operate effectively in this profession whether working in a new or well established setting. Attaining formal Health and Social Care training and qualifications, makes the employee a valued asset to any employer operating in the care sector which may be a day care centre, a sheltered housing, a care home for the elderly or a domiciliary post in a private home. QCF qualification in Health and Social Care gives the learner or employee confidence as the skills needed to do the job become strengthened. It helps a learner or staff to perform better, making them trusted, respected, valued and happier employee. QCF is a vocational qualification that demonstrates ability to do the job and also further cement understanding and reasoning behind the actions. Depending on experience, educational background and or age, the learner may choose to undertake a QCF award, certificate or diploma qualification at levels 1, 2, 3 or 4. Starts 19th January 2012
