Whatever the job you do the chances are you come across people that you would term as 'difficult'. Whether they are managers, direct reports, colleagues, customers or clients, these people can become the bane of your life and you may feel quite powerless to do anything to change the situation. This practical one day course will provide insights into why it can be so difficult to get along with certain people and what you can do about it. You will learn and practise a range of skills and strategies for influencing behaviour change and dealing more effectively and more confidently with difficult behaviour, without feeling guilty or embarrassed. You will also be encouraged to reflect on your own interpersonal style or habits and the possibility that your own chosen behaviour may at times fuel some of the problems.
