Who should take this qualification?

This introductory Award is a pre-service / new-entrant
qualification for anyone wanting to enter teaching or training in the lifelong learning sector.This includes those working in community-based learning and development programmes, employment and work-based learning as well as those in teaching and training in the FE sector.

What does this qualification cover?

This qualification consists of one unit, of 30 guided learning
hours with at least 30 hours of self directed study and observed practice which can be microteaching.
