I'm Derek Hasted - I'm a qualified and experienced Classical Guitar Teacher and I'm involved in guitar locally and nationally. I run a local adult ensemble and the Hampshire Guitar Orchestra (HAGO). I've been commissioned by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and by the European Guitar Teachers' Association to write music for them. I work for Classical Guitar Magazine.
But my real passion is teaching, and I welcome complete beginners who know nothing about guitar just as warmly as those who want a fresh approach to help them progress.
