Service Overview
Children and young people need to be engaged in positive and contemporary, bespoke activities; activities that they enjoy and relate to!
Nugent Education Limited has, for almost ten years, provided urban, creative, performing, visual, educational and cultural arts workshops.
Workshops are provided for children and young people of all ages and abilities, and in schools for all key stages.
Workshops we deliver include urban arts such as graffiti art, rapping, doing, music production, street dancing and break-dancing.
Also cultural, visual, performing and creative arts like African drumming, Japanese origami, animation and film, Latin dance, Japanese manga art, recycled crafts (great crafts ideas), drama and more.
Popular courses (6 x 2 hour sessions) for teenagers and even adults are also popular. These include healthy eating with Jamaican cookery (also for one offs), makeup, hair and beauty, music production, film production and animation and graffiti style mural creation projects (either with young people or for a community space planned and created by our graffiti artist).
We charge £130.00 for a 1hr session, £195.00 for 2 hours and £315.00 for a full day. Further charges include travel, materials where required and 4% administration.
Full day workshops, where we deliver 2 x 2hr, 3 x 1 ½ hour or even 4 x 1 hour workshops to different groups work out the most cost effective.
Schools normally book us for full days.
We work with primary and secondary and special schools. Also, children centres, youth clubs, detention centres, adult community centres, care homes, children’s homes, private schools and so on.
Our CRB checked (fully insured through us) artists will travel to your school or venue to deliver.
We deliver activities and courses in Liverpool, Manchester, Lancaster, Oldham and Flintshire; workshops are delivered in Birmingham and the Midlands, London, Essex and across the UK for residencies.
Our positive feedback from school teachers, head teachers and youth workers and managers is testimony to our good delivery.

Caribbean / Jamaican cooking and healthy eating project
It’s easy to book; we just need a venue address, participant information, invoice details, numbers and any remit.
Objectives like anti-bullying, drugs awareness, healthy lifestyles and so on can be embodied with a creative arts workshop or activity. At other times, the objective could be just for fun and positive engagement, diversionary activities for young people and so on.
