The Woodford Halse School of Stage Dancing is the only dancing school for several miles that offers quality tuition and examinations that are recognised by the Graded Qualifications Alliance, the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, The Welsh Assembly government, Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment, and The Council for Education and Training are just to mention a few of dance and academic authorities from around the world.

The school has been labelled by its own examination body for many years as an excellent centre with a consistently high standard of organisation, facilities and delivery. With consistently high examination results and pupils attending from the villages and towns around. The dancing school also runs a ballet club for the Woodford Halse C of E primary school.

The highly successful Woodford Halse School of Stage Dancing offers tuition, week nights and weekends, for all ages from two and a half years, in ballet, tap, modern-jazz dance, freestyle, cheerleading, drama and speech, elocution, singing, beauty and modelling, and yoga. We also cater for children with learning disabilities.

Our examinations are recognised worldwide through all the major dance organisations and within the mainstream academic and educational authorities. Indeed our school offers G.C.S.E and A level equivalents and diplomas recognised by the educational authorities as you work your way up the various levels. (this means that if a child that is not academic they can still gain a recognised academic qualification to enable them to get into college or university). We have had numerous successes with our students in all the fields mentioned above both in the U.K. and overseas.
Past events have included dancing with top class choreographers, fashion shows and photographic modelling, professional shows, charity fund-raisers and school holiday fun activities including ribbon dance and baton twirling etc.
