Thank you for your enquiry in respect of your degree award program. After reading the enclosed literature, you may wish to apply for an accredited university degree all levels in more than 550 areas.
To be able to assist you in your academic goal, it will be necessary for you to send your full CV detailing your work experience, and copies of all your professional, academic, vocational training. Credits can be given for position of responsibilities, seminars, correspondent courses, in house experience, membership of professional bodies, apprenticeship’s, voluntary service training, in fact all training and experience which is documented will attract some transfer credit.
Remember, that the key to a more rewarding future, not only in terms of person achievements but also with the enhanced salary increment, that degree holders alone enjoy. It is some time unfortunate, that well deserved and qualified personnel, who themselves are academically and professionally qualified are never the less classed as “unqualified”, and are past over at job interviews because they do not hold a university degree.
Some times, students ask us the difference between a traditional university degree, and a non-traditional degree holder. The Open University in the UK has lead the way in breaking the mould in a more non-traditional university, correspondence courses and distance learning is still the main way of gaining a degree. More and more universities are giving credits for well documented and substantiated work experience, academic and professional exams.
The universities that we recommend fall into these categories, most of them have the Validating Professional Growth Program which examine the strengths and merits of each candidates proposed transfer credits, and if these transfer credits are accepted for a university degree award, they are entered as studied credits, as the work has been previously studied at accredited institutions. You may wish to have your degree notarised by Notary of the Public, this is particularly helpful for jobs applications overseas, or for any professional or educational body.
