You will be shown how to use a variety of sources of information to trace your ancestry or genealogy. These range from home and family sources and names to Civil and Parish records, censuses, wills and probate. You will be introduced to record keeping and the use of IT.
There will be an optional escorted trip, at direct cost to the student, to the National Archives at Kew. Evidence of identity will be required to obtain a reader’s ticket.
