General English 7.4hr/wk is a part-time programme that runs all year and can be taken as a morning, afternoon or evening class (please see Evening Classes section). The course has a strong focus on practical English language skills required by students and people whose first language is not English and is ideal for students looking to improve their all-round communication skills. For long-term students and EU residents in Scotland, we provide cultural advice on life in the U.K., help with day-to-day issues such as banking, accommodation or registering with a doctor.
This course covers five levels from beginner to advanced and includes regular opportunities to progress through these levels. There are 7.5 hours of classes each week, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
