Kidsdance: Dance classes with a Difference

Looking for something a bit different from ballet and street dance?

Kidsdance offers fun, creative, contemporary dance for boys and girls aged 3-14 on Tuesdays and Saturdays in Twickenham. In a friendly, social environment, children create their own dances, learn original dance sequences and develop their co-ordination, strength, stamina, flexibility, team working skills and concentration - all whilst having a great time!

We use a new theme each term - such as legends, dreams, art, recycling, sport, superheroes... We also offer additional experiences - visits to see professional dance companies and family workshops in other styles or art forms - in the past year we have had input from an African dance artist, a storyteller and a junk percussionist.

There's no pressure of exams, but many of the children choose to take part in public performances each term - recently Kidsdance has performed at the Rambert School, The Royal Ballet School (RichDance) and Twickenham Carnival (in June). We don't audition or select the children to perform, so everyone can have the experience if they want to. Our classes are grouped by age, rather than ability and we have enough staff to accommodate a range of experience in each class.
