Marty was recently voted best drum teacher in Orange County, California, by the United States Dept. of Commerce in Washington D.C Also is 2009, Marty was featured on Modern Drummer.com, the most widely read drum magazine in the United States.

As a clinician Marty has performed for Sam Ash Music Inc. He has also performed @ the NAMM show for ProMark drum sticks, 2001 thru 2007 as well as multiple clinics for schools through out Southern California. Marty has performed specialist clinics for Peace Drums, ProMark drum sticks, and Audix microphones.

Marty has been Judge for Guitar Center and its regional and national finals for “Drum Off “ competition, 2004 thru 2008.

As a graduate of Concordia University, Irvine, California, Marty was invited back to teach drums and percussion and as guest lecturer on “Drumming and the Music Industry” 2001-2008.

Marty brings to the drum set over 3 decades of experience. Marty is a signed endorser of the following: percussion products: ProMark drum sticks, Peace drums, Evans drum heads, HQ practice pads, Audix microphones, Hudson Music, and BeatNik rhythm products.

Marty is a co-founder- member of:
Professional Drum Teachers Guild of America, and an active member of Percussive Arts Society, as well as D’Addario’s “Lessons’ Room”. Marty is also proud to be part of
Hudson Music’s T.I.P program, and Marty is stoked to be executive director of Inner City Music Program.
As a drummer, Marty has played drums on, and produced Myth’s debut album “American Fable”. The US tour included sell out shows at “The Whiskey “ and West Hollywood’s House of Blues.
