Sherborne Branch - Helen Laxton School of Dance

The Helen Laxton School of Dance has been training novice children to professional dancers in Dorset and Somerset for over 25 years. We are the only school on the region offering Royal Academy of Dance Ballet and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance Modern Theatre up to Advanced 2 Examination level. Our pupils are regularly in demand to perform both localy and nationally, many of our dancers are members of our performance group, The Somerset Youth Dance Company which raises thousands of pounds for local charities whilst giving the students plenty of performance opportunities.
We teach Royal Academy Ballet, Hip Hop, Street Dance, Disco, Tap, Pre School and Toddler Dance, Modern Theatre and Musical Theatre. We are situated in several locations around Sherborne
