French Horn and Trumpet/Cornet Lessons!

I am a French Horn player from Wales. I studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama for both my Postgraduate and Undergraduate, and moved to London in September 2009 to pursue a career in freelancing and teaching.

I am happy to teach all ages* and most standards of playing on French Horn and Beginner to Intermediate on other valved brass, for serious or casual reasons. I strive to make lessons fun as surely that's the whole point!!
*If you are a young beginner, it is important that you have your front adult teeth, usually around the age of 7.

Teaching experience includes: private; outreach projects and workshops, and even group coaching at a British Horn Society ensemble event in Cardiff.

I also worked at the RWCMD Junior department as auxiliary staff, and an Enhanced Disclosure CRB check was issued for this post in October 2007.

I charge £25 for an hour, £12.50 for half an hour. I teach at the student's own home, and am willing to include travel expenses in the teaching unless it is £5 or over.
