Singing Lessons and Coaching

Hello!

I am a professional singer, vocal coach, and facilitator, with over 15 years of professional music under my belt. As a performer I will work not only your voice, but the way you interpret songs, and the way you deliver them on a stage.

I am all-rounder performer: singer-songwriter, musician, dancer. I also have a Psychology background which I believe is an asset, both in the way I approach the teaching process and in the way I approach stage performance.

One of my main focuses is vocal health, and I will always make a point of teaching correct practices and making sure no bad habits are picked up. This will not, however, mean you will end up singing like a choir singer... when you really want to sing rock! I teach all styles, as I have performed them myself, and pretty much all levels... But always remembering to make lessons a fun experience: by having fun and relaxing I find that results come about so much faster. From here, once solid foundations are laid down, I will coach you towards achieving your goals in music... whether to simply have the confidence to sing at at a karaoke, or to develop a professional career.

All levels, including absolute beginners welcome.

I prefer to teach in my own home, but I can also travel: zones 1-2 are free, but for areas further away extra charges for transport will apply.

Lessons cost 30.00 GBP (lasting about an hour, as longer lessons can cause vocal fatigue, especially in unexperienced singers).

I also apply discounts if you book in advance: one lesson FREE if you book 6 lessons (6th lesson is free), and TWO FREE lessons if you book a package of 12 (11th and 12th are free). Payment in advance is required for these packages.

GROUP LESSONS: For the same price (£30) I can teach two people, and up to 5 people for £40 (bringing the price down to an unbeatable £8 per person!).

PERFORMING ARTS COACHING: I can coach you within the context of singing lessons, or can exclusively coach you. Coaching over the phone is also available, and together we will work towards identifying and defusing what may have been standing in the way of you achieving your true potential, and taking steps to empower your own, unique voice and expression.. and freeing your creative self!

I have plenty of references available, am a member of the Musicians Union and am CRB checked.
