Whatever your dance background, the IDTA Freestyle qualification can be a useful step into dance teaching as it has general points regarding safety, musicality, anatomy, class planning and more, plus as it is a creative style with lots of steps open to interpretation, it allows you to tailor your routines to your own style.
Once you qualify you will be eligible to become a full IDTA member and you will be able to set up your own classes, after school clubs, take private lessons and even set up your own dance school plus you will have access to other member benefits (free seminars, trade discounts, bi-monthly magazine and more) and be able to use their syllabus in order to hold grade exams for your own students.
