Street Dance Classes for Adult Beginners in London

Creation Dance has been teaching Urban Groovz, a fitness and fun orientated hip hop dance class in London for over 3 years, and now we are in too!



All our classes are designed for complete beginners, so you don't have to worry if you have never danced before. We will take you slowly, step by step through new routines each week.



We have NEW STREET DANCE CLASSES in London starting in September – each term is 12 weeks long and if you miss a class you can make it up for free at any of our other venues.

So what's in the classes? What is street dance?



Street Dance is a form of hip hop or urban dance that uses more commercial moves than pure hip hop. You see street dance in music videos, on stage and in shows and it's a great way to get fit and get in shape!



Dancing will also improve your memory, coordination, balance and other motor fitness skills you don't always work on in the gym.



Each week, we do a warm up, basic dance exercises and then a new routine to the latest urban sounds. By the end of the course you should be feeling more confident about dancing, be able to perform a short routine with the group and be ready to continue your dancing!
