AN HOUR TO DANCE, AN HOUR TO ACT & AN HOUR TO SING!
Classes in dance, drama and singing are held on Sunday mornings at Berrycoombe School in Bodmin for 6-18 year olds.
There is also an Early Stages group for 4-6 year olds which runs for 90 minutes each week during term-time, again on Sunday mornings. In addition to developing their skills in the performing arts, students learn to express themselves more easily and gain poise, confidence and self-esteem. All students have opportunities to perform, are awarded medals for long attendance and receive two written reports each year on their progress. Students achieved a 100% pass rate in grade Musical Theatre exams in July 2011, with 50% of students gaining merits and 10% distinctions.
Stagecoach Bodmin has been awarded 'Recognised School' status by the Council for Dance Education & Training (CDET) and is a Children's University Learning Destination.
