The Performing Arts Company runs beginners acting courses just for adults! This course is for anyone who has an interest in acting and the performing arts and has been designed just for adults and caters for everyone's needs whether your looking for fun, social, new skills or even a career change!
At present we will be running a 13 week TV Acting Course commencing September 15th 7-9pm.
The Adult Acting Class will use these workshops to make, perform and respond to drama. Here are a few areas we will cover:
Script Work -Sight Reading Skills, Text Analysis, Basic Script Writing, Story
Team Working Skills -Looking at how 'Acting is Reacting'
Voice & Speech -Vocal exercises to develop articulation, projection, fluency
Characterisation -How to create a three dimensional believable character and living the life of that character
TV vs. Theatre Acting - Looking at the differences in the two art forms, Exploring the terminology used on set/stage
Audition Techniques - Exploring solo pieces for theatre and casting's for television/film
Agents & Performance CV's- Information and guidance will be available to anyone who is keen to get into the performance industry
